Prunus maackii  Amur Chokecherry  A small tree with wonderful coppery barkthat exfoliates over time. Fragrant white blooms in earlyspring. Grows 25'. 
Prunus virginiana 'Canada Red'  Canada Red Cherry  A selection with green new foliage whichmatures to reddish-purple. May occasionally get black knoton branches that must be pruned out. Grows 25'. 
Pyrus calleryana 'Autumn Blaze'  Autumn Blaze Pear  A very hardy selection with a rounded crown, full spring flowering, and brilliant red fall color. The best callery pear cultivar for the upper Midwest. Grows 20-30'. 
Quercus alba  White Oak  Is slow growing and difficult to transplant, but nothing less than magnificent with great age.Has good red fall color. Grows 60'.  
Quercus bicolor  Swamp White Oak  Similar to White Oak but is easier to transplant and has poorer (yellow-orange) fall color. Very nice fissured bark. Grows 60'. 
Quercus coccinea  Scarlet Oak  Similar to Pin Oak, but more globe shape. Leaves hang on to tree into winter. More tolerant of alkaline conditions than pin oak. Grows 75'. 
Quercus ellipsoidalis  Northern Pin Oak  A native tree well adapted to sandy, acid soils, but will tolerate heavier soils and more alkaline conditions than Pin Oak. Red fall color can be spectacular! Grows 60'. 
Quercus macrocarpa  Bur Oak  Develops tremendous size and character with age, although one of the slowest oaks. No significant fall color. Grows 60-70'. 
Quercus palustris 'Green Pillar'  Green Pillar Pin Oak     
Quercus rubra  Northern Red Oak  An attractive, transplantable and relatively fast growing oak. Has good red fall color. Grows 50-70'. 
Quercus x macdanielli 'Heritage'  Heritage Oak  Maintains a central leader and develops a dense, uniform pyramidal crown. Develops broad rounded crown with age. Dark green to blue-green leaves in summer. Grows 70'.   
Quercus x warei 'Regal Prince'  Regal Prince Oak  Beautiful foliage all season long, the silvery lower surfaces of the leaf are really attractive. The shape is a very distinctive upright oval. Tolerant of a wide range of soil types, including both wet and dry soils. Grows 40-60'. 
Robinia 'Twisty Baby'  Twisted Black Locust  Twisted, ascending branches with pendulous, fragrant white flowers. Grows 25'.

Salix 'Golden Curls'  Golden Curls Willow  Resembles Corkscrew Willow but with golden bark in winter. Appears to be hardier than Corkscrew too.Bright green foliage in the summer turns yellow in the fall.Golden stems, semi-pendulous nature, and leaves are somewhatcurled. Grows 35'.

Sorbus decora  Showy Mountain Ash  Large clusters of white flowers in May precede the red fruit in fall. Mountain ash are attractive in fruit and flower, but are susceptibile to diseases. Provide good air circulation. Grows 30'. 
Syringa 'Prince Charming' - Treeform  Prince Charming Lilac - Standard  Top grafted - this cultivar has darker purple blooms.   
Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'  Dwarf Korean Lilac - Standard  A great small ornamental for perennial beds. Numerous liilac colored flowers. Grows 8'.
